The United States District Court for the Northern District of California has preliminarily approved settlements between Plaintiffs Brand Little, Robin Burns, and Cherry Fisheries Inc. (“Cherry Fisheries”) on behalf of commercial Dungeness crab fishers against defendants collectively known as Pacific Seafood Procurement, LLC in this Litigation. The Settlement class has been provisionally certified in this antitrust class action lawsuit, entitled Little, et al. v. Pacific Seafood Procurement, LLC, et al., Case No. 23-cv-01098. United States Magistrate Judge Alex G. Tse is presiding over this class action (the “Action”). The United States District Court for the Northern District of California (the “Court”) authorized the issuance of the Notice and this website.

The lawsuit alleges an unlawful conspiracy by the named Defendants—of whom there are 38 distinct entities—conspired with one another to fix, suppress, and/or stabilize the price of ex vessel Dungeness crab in California, Oregon, and Washington (excluding Puget Sound), which caused harm to Dungeness crab fishers by artificially reducing the amount they were paid for their catch.

The Court Preliminarily approved a Settlement known as the “First Round Settlements” between the Plaintiffs and Pacific Seafood Procurement, LLC on August 24, 2026. The Defendants settling in this round have agreed to pay certain amounts into a common Qualified Settlement Fund or provide Plaintiffs cooperation in pursuit of litigation against the remaining non-settling Defendants in the Action.

If you would like to participate in the First Round Settlements or wish to participate in future settlements, and/or receive further information about the First Round Settlements and any future settlements in this Action, you must submit the Intent to Participate Form, available here.
